Giving to Berklee

Marjorie O'Malley

Assistant Vice President for Institutional Advancement

After successful careers in environmental protection, legislative affairs and affordable housing, Marjorie joined Berklee College of Music in 1997.

Since that time O'Malley has expanded the number of scholarships available to students and is consistently forging partnerships with individuals, foundations, corporations to ensure that Berklee is a great place to study and work.

She has been a champion of the Berklee City Music Program and has led fundraising efforts to expand its reach nationwide. Ms. O'Malley works very closely with students, alumni, parents, trustees and friends to ensure the mission of Berklee is understood, embraced and supported by the wider community.

She is a leader in efforts to expand private philanthropic support in order to attract the best students regardless of their ability to pay. Looking forward, she is particularly interested in seeking financial support for improvements to and expansion of Berklee's physical plant to enhance the student experience.
