Curriculum

The Berklee Interdisciplinary Arts Institute’s comprehensive curriculum provides a critical forum for students to develop capstone portfolio work. Participants in the program collaborate with peer artists across disciplines in affiliated schools and through internship opportunities. World-class visiting faculty and visiting artists provide critiques in classes, lectures, and immersive workshops.

The BIAI meets Fridays 2:00-6:00 for the BIAI Seminar (MT-475) and BIAI Directed Studies (MT-480). Approved applicants are expected to take both classes, for a total of two credits.

The BIAI is now accepting applications for admission for the fall 2013 semester. The application deadline is March 29, 2013. Selected finalists will be interviewed in person. Applicants are selected based on their GPA, musical skill, artistic vision, creativity, and ability to collaborate within a group.
