BERKLEE'S FACILITIES
Music Synthesis Labs

There are six different facilities dedicated to Music synthesis instruction, rehearsal, and performance of student projects at Berklee. The three main labs contain over 350 of the latest MIDI synthesizers, samplers, sound sources, DSP, outboard gear, computers, and software, including products made by Apple, Akai, Clavia, Digidesign, Earthworks, Emagic, Eventide, Genelec, HHB, Lexicon, Mark of the Unicorn, Native Instruments, Kawai, Korg, Symbolic Sound, Macromedia, Adobe, Cycling74, BIAS, Waves, Propellerheads, Applied Acoustics, Antares, Mackie, Oberheim, Roland, and Yamaha.

 
     

There are also two ensemble performance rooms and a lecture/recital hall. Each contains synthesizers, drum machines, computers and related sound-reinforcement equipment that allows you to achieve practical, real-time performance outcomes.
