The Berklee Performance Center gives faculty and student groups the opportunity to perform in one of Boston’s major concert halls. Housed in the renovated, historic Fenway Theater, the Berklee Performance Center seats 1,215. Over 150 student and faculty concerts are performed there each year. Its direct link with Berklee’s recording studios and videotaping facilities affords professional-quality recording of events and concerts. In addition, there are approximately 100 outside professional shows as well as special seminars and clinics held throughout the year. The 2009–2010 season featured James Taylor, Paul Simon, Branford Marsalis, Devendra Banhart, the Swell Season, Air, Bryan Adams, and many more.
