Guilherme Abud

Guilherme Abud, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, started playing guitar when he was 16, and was soon influenced by the Joao Gilberto bossa nova style. He started performing in bars and restaurants with singers; at the same time he attended college. When he graduated in 2009 he was accepted in the Souza Lima Conservatory, where he started his formal music studies.

Frotations

The Frotations was forged in 2011 by singer-songwriter Chris Kazarian and bass player Pedro Ribiero (Pedro Zappa). The band headlined the HarborArts Festival in September 2013 and filled Boston’s Middle East Corner to capacity at its EP release show. The Frotations are a concrete blend of neo-soul and rock and roll with a little drop of hip-hop.
