Tamar Eisenman

Tamar Eisenman and Rona Kenan, two of their generation’s freshest and most intriguing voices, will take the stage in America with songs spanning their respective solo careers and from an array of special projects they have been a part of throughout the years. The show is a musical journey to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, San Francisco, New York, and Odessa. Laced with virtuosic guitar playing, original poetry and ample grooves, Eisenman and Kenan chart an up-to-date map of the Israeli feminist rock/folk scene and its global cross-pollination effect.

Eisenman is an Israeli singer-songwriter and guitarist who has already established herself as one of Israel’s most unique voices. An enormous mass of energy tightly packed in a compact physique, Eisenman’s modest stature stands in great contrast to her overwhelming charisma and musical force.

Kenan is currently touring with her band, writing for and performing with renowned Israeli musicians such as Yehudit Ravitz and Gidi Gov, and occasionally performing in Europe and the U.S.
