The Veils

Established in Boston in 2004, the Fenway Recordings Sessions is a regular concert series featuring a mix of the best new and developing indie artists and established acts playing the city's clubs. This show features the Veils, Lantern, and DJ Carbo.

The Veils is a London-based indie/alternative rock band fronted by lead singer and songwriter Finn Andrews. The group is known for its chaotic and highly cathartic live performances and Finn's often scarily possessed stage presence. Head of Rough Trade Records, Geoff Travis has referred to Finn as "a young but maturing real artist in the vein of Nick Cave and David Bowie."

Lantern is a Philadelphia-based rock trio that has an immense amount of music, with nine releases available on their Bandcamp. Their latest, Dream Mine, was released in May 2012. The band delves into both the psychedelic realm of rock, as well as its ripping and visceral nature with their heavy feedback and raw vocals.

DJ Carbo a.k.a Mark Kates was resident at L.A. electronica club Atmosphere at the Viper Room as well as on the legendary pirate station KBLT. He now hosts the Fenway Recordings Sessions in Boston.
