Swingin’ in the Fens is an annual free outdoor concert held in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood. This year’s featured ensemble is the Jelani Bauman Quartet, featuring Berklee alumnus Jelani Bauman. The jazz quartet’s influences include various masters of American music, from Billy Strayhorn and Miles Davis to Isaac Hayes and Curtis Mayfield, and the group also draws on Bauman’s New Orleans culture and heritage. In the event of inclement weather, this concert will be moved to July 24.
