Driven by a passion to create music with purpose, Deni Hlavinka and Chris West formed the Western Den in 2013 to blend compelling folk harmonies with ambient textures, producing a sound all their own.

Luke Niccoli

First place winner of the 2013 BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship, Luke Niccoli is an alternative singer-songwriter combining the acoustic and pop sensibilities of John Mayer with the edge and arena rock energy of Kings of Leon.

Tracy L J Robertson

A member of Pitch Slapped (Berklee's a cappella vocal group), Tracy L J Robertson grew up with barbershop. His focus is in ensemble singing, writing, and arranging, and looks forward to taking opportunities to keep a cappella a part of his musical career.

Ellie Buckland and Isa Burke

Ellie Buckland and Isa Burke are fiddlers and singer-songwriters who love traditional music and close harmonies. With two fiddles, two guitars, and two intertwining voices, they perform old folk songs, new Americana, and original songs in an acoustic roots style.

Damn Tall Buildings

Club Passim

Damn Tall Buildings is an all-acoustic bluegrass and blues band from Boston. While its instrumentation is bluegrass, it's not bound to it. With lyrical storytelling and foot-stomping grooves, its songs about love and ramblin’ help the everyday troubles slip away into up-tempo hobo anthems.

Nikolas Metaxas

Born in New York City and raised in Cyprus, Nikolas Metaxas started playing guitar by the age of 7 and piano by the age of 12, while also singing in choirs. When he was 20, he took part in the televised singing competition called The X-Factor (equivalent to American Idol) and placed second.

Hadley Kennary

Yes, Kennary is pronounced like the bird. Her music mixes the honesty of Sara Bareilles with the mellow cleverness of Ingrid Michaelson and defining harmonies similar to the Indigo Girls.

Adrianna Ciccone

Thursday / June 26, 2014 / 1:00 p.m.

Club Passim

Boston-based fiddler and step dancer Adrianna Ciccone is establishing herself as a distinctive voice in the new-acoustic music scene. Her style, rooted in the Ottawa Valley and Québecois fiddle traditions, is also inspired by the many different regional fiddles styles of Canada and the world, including Appalachian, Métis, Cape Breton, Irish, Scottish and Scandinavian music.
