Singer and composer Stefano Marchese and his quintet will perform his original compositions and some traditional songs from Abruzzo (Italy) in a "contaminated jazz" style. In his music, Stefano brings the influences of the Mediterranean music which, mixed with jazz forms and harmonies, creates an original sound. "Radici" ("roots" in Italian) is the title of one of his compositions and of his first album. Stefano mixes American music with Mediterranean music, but also combines different languages, such as dialect from Abruzzo, Italian, and English.
