Sarah McKenzie / Molly Tuttle
Sarah McKenzie and Molly Tuttle will each perform a set at the Boston Arts Festival. McKenzie is a jazz vocalist and pianist with two albums under her belt. Tuttle plays guitar, banjo and sings. She's appeared at Hardly, Strictly Bluegrass, Strawberry Music Festival, Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival, and numerous other festivals and venues across the country.

Molly Tuttle is an extraordinary spirit and one who is only just beginning what will be a long, memorable career. Her lyrics connect with our hopes, dreams, and struggles, and her scores have a strong foundation in contemporary folk, bluegrass and American roots music but with a modern day twist.
Tuttle is a virtuoso instrumentalist known for her flatpicking on guitar and her accomplished clawhammer and three-finger bluegrass banjo playing. She’s been performing on stage since she was 11 and recorded her first album at age 13. She’s appeared at Hardly, Strictly Bluegrass, Strawberry Music Festival, Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival, and numerous other festivals and venues across the country.

Pianist, vocalist, and composer Sarah McKenzie is a graduate of the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts where Hugh Jackman, Marcus Graham, Lisa McCune, and many other leading Australian musical and theatre performers also trained.
While in Perth she completed a bachelor of jazz degree, won the Jack Bendat Scholarship, the Hawaiian Award for Most Outstanding Jazz Graduate, and the Perth Jazz Societies Award for leading the Most Outstanding Group of the Year for 2008. She also sung backing vocals along side Michael Buble for the Call Me Irresponsible tour.
