Roberto GiaquintoImage 1 of 1A trio featuring drummer Roberto Giaquinto performs in celebration of Jazz Week 2013. Giaquinto has previously performed at the Blue Note in New York City, the Detroit Jazz Festival, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and the Beantown Jazz Festival. Before coming to Berklee College of Music to study as part of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute under artistic director Danilo Pérez, Giaquinto studied jazz arranging at the Conservatorio Licinio Refice in Rome. He began playing drums in Naples, Italy, where he was a member of various jazz, blues, and rock bands.
