The fourth Next Big Strings Composition Competition features String Department students playing their own compositions. Each year, the competitors are given a theme on which to base their composition. This year's theme is "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." That's right: each piece will have your favorite nursery rhyme woven through it. You'll hear a variety of styles, genres, and instrumentation, but every piece will use this common familiar theme. There will be three winners and lots of interesting prizes.
