Best known as the composer of Riverdance, Bill Whelan has generated a long list of production and arranging credits that include U2, Van Morrison, and Kate Bush as well as many orchestral, film, theater, and traditional music projects. Riverdance had its first performance in Dublin, Ireland, in 1995. Since then, it has played to millions of people worldwide, with both the album and video topping the charts around the world. At this concert, Grammy Award-winner Whelan will join a large Berklee student group in performing music from his broad repertoire.
