The Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, sponsored by the Monterey Jazz Festival, is comprised of top-level high school jazz players in the U.S. Featuring award-winning instrumentalists and a vocalist in a jazz big band setting, the ensemble performs classic songs as well as the most cutting-edge contemporary pieces currently being written for jazz orchestras by the finest composers and arrangers.
