Michael Wooten is young pianist from Philadelphia. He started playing at the age of 11 during church services but soon gained interest in many other styles, including jazz, rock, R&B, folk, and electronic music. He also began learning other instruments, such as guitar, bass, cello, mandolin, and oboe. His primary passion, though, has always been composing. His original music spans contemporary pop, orchestral music, big band jazz, folk, and bluegrass. Michael entered Berklee College of Music in 2013 at age 17. He hopes to never conform to any one musical genre and to continue experiencing everything that music has to offer.
