This performance has been canceled due to weather. Jake Sherman began taking piano lessons at age 5 and fell in love with ragtime, learning many Scott Joplin classics and composing rags. At age 12 he started studying jazz piano and was soon playing in ensembles, and at 14 he discovered the Hammond organ.
