Berklee assistant professor of piano Leo Blanco kicks off this faculty showcase night with original compositions blending contemporary South American music, modern harmonies, and improvisation. Next, Berklee instructors Jason Anick and Jason Yeager join forces as the United Jasons to present a dynamic program of modern jazz infused with classical, rock, Latin, bluegrass, and other influences.

One of the leading creative and virtuosic forces on the violin and mandolin, string department faculty member Jason Anick released his second album, Tipping Point (featuring Yeager on piano), earlier this year. A highly original pianist and composer, piano faculty member Jason Yeager is releasing his second album, Affirmation, this fall. Together, the United Jasons will present a program consisting of original compositions, exciting covers spanning multiple musical worlds, and collaborative improvisation.
