At 19 years old, Kate Cameron has a soulful country flair with a driven Boston edge. She is best known for her energetic and unique live performances, as well as her instinctive songwriting ability. Growing up on the South Shore of Massachusetts, she sang everything from acoustic singer-songwriter material to pop, classic rock, and blues, and she is self-taught on the guitar, keyboard, and mandolin.
At age 16, she developed an interest in country music and realized it was the perfect genre to infuse with many styles in addition to showcasing her songwriting talent and powerful chops. In the summer of 2012, Cameron played an extensive 44 live shows, additional open mics, and live radio performances. She is hired by Country 102.5 WKLB Boston to perform and host many promotional events. Her ability to entertain large venues and eclectic audiences with just her voice, guitar, and personality is an impressive experience.
