Jordan Casty was born on the hundredth floor of Chicago's Sears Tower, and he's spent the better part of his life writing and performing truth in songs throughout all corners of the United States. His original music has resonated in audience's hearts in venues such as Chicago's Beat Kitchen and Uncommon Ground, Boston's Prudential Courtyard, and New York's historic Bitter End. He's one link in a long chain of writers who grab ahold of what's driving people and steer it into a song. Writers like Bob Dylan, singers like Ray Charles, guitarists like Jimi Hendrix have all passed their precious gifts through generations and Casty has been here to receive them.

As leader of the rock band Eleven Dollar Bills, Casty gets loud with his love while gripping the rails of freight train writing. As a solo artist, he soars through poignant melodies with lyrics that beam from his heart to yours.

Featured on NPR's "Here & Now" and Chicago Acoustic Underground Radio, Casty has been said to evoke the ghosts of John Lennon and Ray Charles. He studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music, and his new album coming from the righteous Hinge Studios in Chicago is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who listen.

As DJ Michael Teach of Chicago Acoustic Underground Radio said, "I am certain that you will agree with me that this young man is destined for greatness. He is absolutely brilliant."
