Jazz Revelation Records celebrates the release of a new compilation album and the artists it features with a show at the Berklee Performance Center. This year's release, Catalyst, is a zestful combination of compositions, featuring 10 of Jazz Revelation's and Berklee’s top jazz players, including Tomas Latorre (Argentina), Sol Jun (South Korea), Sarah McKenzie (Australia), Simon Moullier (France), Brian Plautz (Pittsburgh), Jacob Matheus (Norway), Tal Even-tzur (Israel), Luis D’Elias (Venezuela), Do Young Kim (South Korea), and Juan Pérez Rodriguez (Spain).

Kevin McCluskey, faculty advisor and executive producer for Jazz Revelation Records, says, "Our bands are young and incredibly vital, yet there is something ancient in the wisdom of their musings. They are both students and masters of their craft, and as such will always be on the cusp of the new, the exciting, and the authentic."

Jazz Revelation Records (JRR) is a student-run, artist-driven record label created to showcase the top jazz composers and performers from Berklee College of Music. Gathered from all over the globe, JRR artists speak the traditional language of jazz in a new way. Their youth, passion, and commitment are the launching pad for a sound that gets inside your head, your heart, and, yes, you’ll tap your feet and maybe hum along after a while.
