Fate & the Family Band
Hailing from Boston, Fate & the Family Band is a blues/rock band with some serious soul. They are proud to announce the release of their first EP, Together, this past fall. They love creating an engaging atmosphere for their audience with their fresh tunes, dance moves, and inviting vibe. Come join the family.
The Rare Occasions
Between opening for Guster and Lupe Fiasco and self-producing every last sticky melody put to tape, the Rare Occasions has proven its passion for Boston's college scene through its unapologetically bold sense and style of music. In its time together thus far, it has self-recorded and self-produced a six-track demo and a five-track EP, won the Tufts University Battle of the Bands, played live on the radio, released a music video, competed in WBRU's annual Rock Hunt, and performed at venues across New England. The group looks to connect with listeners and musicians alike through its unique sound.
For the past 22 years, Aussie singer/songwriter Sam Fischer has been on a mission to blur typical genre boundaries. Born in Sydney, Australia, moving to Winchester, England, in 2010, and now residing in Boston, where he attends the Berklee College of Music in his final year, Fischer's artistry has become a representation of the different environments he has been exposed to and the life experiences that come with change, love, and learning. His music combines smooth soulful vocals with powerful lyrical content revolving around real events in his life. Fischer aims to leave every person who hears his music or sees him live with a sense of who he is and a new view on each and every emotion they experience on a daily basis. He has just released his debut EP, Solid, on October 2.
