Hailing from Ecuador, talented singer Francisco Ruiz is fluent in a wide range of styles including pop, salsa, and reggaeton. A dual contemporary writing and production/performance major at Berklee College of Music, Ruiz has been a part of several Ecuadorian groups, including the rock/pop outfit Vox Lumini and the vocal ensemble Clone. He has also participated in independent projects such as a Dave Matthews tribute band, Satellite, the IMC Big Band, and the Salsa Orchestra of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito.

Before attending Berklee, Ruiz received a full scholarship to attend the prestigious Conservatorio Sergei Rachmaninov in Ecuador. In addition to voice, his studies also include piano and guitar.
