With a shared respect for well-crafted songs, the Field Effect packs a collective punch with songs spiked with introspective lyrics, infectious melodies, and ferocious rhythms. An antidote to the seemingly endless movement of aloof, lo-fi indie music, the Field Effect reclaims the genre with their passion for lyrical honesty, musical ability, and a fearless mission to make music for the many and not just the few. Since forming in 2011, the Field Effect has received rave reviews for both its energetic live show and for its debut studio release.

Old Jack is a group of circumstance. While recording other bands, lead singer/songwriter Dan “GoodWood” Nicklin would find himself asking his clients, as well as his musician friends, to help him make a studio record. In the winter of 2008, Old Jack played its first show. While the members have changed and the band has grown in numbers (with as many as nine people) the band is still developing its soul/rock sound. Old Jack belts out its original material with lots of harmonies, big vocals, and guitar solos galore.

Nate Leavitt is currently working on a full-length album called Lavender Blues, to be released in September 2013. Once again he takes on the role of performer, engineer and producer while playing most of the instruments and recording in his home studio. Early feedback from bloggers and the press compared his work to Dylan's Blood on the Tracks because of its personal nature and focus on a major change in his life.
