Three-time Grammy Award-winning producer and Berklee alumnus Dawaun Parker ‘05 introduces Phil Beaudreau and his debut album, Ether. The pair’s first collaboration, “Lost,” garnered the attention of Dr. Dre, who, after hearing it, flew Beaudreau and Parker to Eminem’s studio in Detroit to work on new music. Says Beaudreau, “I never expected there to be any real interest this soon in the game. It’s incredibly encouraging to know that a legend like Dre cares about my work.” Beaudreau draws inspiration from the likes of Pink Floyd, the Beach Boys, Thom Yorke, and Kanye West.
