 Alexander Anderson, age 20, was a composer and performer in San Diego before coming to Berklee College of Music. Anderson has studied with and performed at master classes with Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Danilo Perez, Jack DeJohnette, Joe Lovano, George Duke, Dave Liebman, Christian Scott, and Benny Green. With his jazz fusion band, Unidentified Fusion Orangement, Anderson has developed original compositions and played at various public and private venues. He was the house pianist in the historic Coronado Big Band at age 18, working with Sammy Nestico. 

Anderson was recently appointed an international ambassador of jazz from the American Funk and Brass Association.
