At a very young age Dylan McDonald was immersed in the tradition of the blues. Initially he was exposed to Stevie Ray Vaughan, but quickly backtracked through history in order to trace the roots of the music he loves. McDonald has gained recognition as a technically adept blues guitarist who pours his soul into everything that comes out of his instrument. To date, he has performed with the award-winning virtuosic blues pianist David Maxwell. He has also performed with Per Hanson, an original member of Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, Vernon Reid of Living Colour, and Nona Hendryx of Labelle.

"Dylan McDonald has consistently impressed me with his guitar playing. His tone is very developed and he possesses technical control of his instrument. Most importantly is the emotion that's at the core of everything he plays. Simply put: When Dylan plays the blues, it's the blues!" says Ralph Rosen of the Bruce Katz Band/Albert King.

McDonald is backed by some of the hottest young musicians around. This band is high energy all the time, and you'll only want more. They only have one goal, and that is to create the absolute best music they can. Dylan McDonald and Co. play across the board in a mix of blues, gospel/R&B, and funk.

In the second half, appearing for his last recital at Berklee, guitarist/composer Bhrigu Sahni is known for his high-energy performances and intricate/complex compositions. Drawing from Sufi/Indian influences and the heavy grooves of Breakbeat and Dub, this will definitely be a concert for the books. Join Sahni and his group of highly talented musicians in a journey of musical expression, discovery, and joy.
