Steve Almond—Rock and Roll Will Save Your Life

The Red Room at Cafe 939, Boston’s premier all-ages venue, is pleased to invite New York Times–bestselling author and NPR music reviewer Steve Almond. Almond will hit the stage to dazzle the Berklee community with a multimedia presentation of his book Rock and Roll Will Save Your Life. 

Weaving in music, graphics, and humor, Almond offers profound insights into the power of music. Berklee alumna Aimee Mann says it’s “required reading for all us fans and musicians who belong to the Church of Rock and Roll.” The second act will feature a Berklee student band selected by Almond in a campus-wide contest.

This show is presented by FUSION Magazine, Berklee’s publication for literature, music, and ideas.
