At 8:15 p.m., composer/pianist Yoon Ah Oh presents her recital. The second half of the show, starting at 9:15 p.m., features the Tetsuro Hoshii Orchestra. Hoshii's compositions are individual kinds of art. Sometime they incorporate strings; other times they incorporate big band. There are also many historical jazz elements, including blues, gospel, and film music from the 1930s and '40s.
