Chris Ayer

Chris Ayer is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter. He won the Lennon Award in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the Folk category and has been a recent finalist in both the Merlefest Chris Austin Songwriting Contest and the New York Songwriters Circle Contest. Beyond strictly folk music, elements of pop, rock, soul, and country influence his sound.

Barnaby Bright's music has been featured on television shows such as ER, Days of Our Lives, and PBS Roadtrip Nation. Their song "If I Came Back as a Song" was voted third-place winner by a notable panel of judges including Tom Waits in 2007's International Songwriting Competition.

John Schmitt was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and his songs are a direct reflection of his experiences growing up there. His simple, honest approach tells stories that hit at the heart of American life.
