Violin student Rika Ikeda, who has been busy performing for school events and in the local jazz scene, is presenting her original compositions and arrangements at the Berklee Performance Center as the first time. Her music is somewhat ECM but supported by a native Brazilian rhythm section for groove. Her unique, driving improvisation style will lead the way. Composer/pianist Jihee Yoon will play her original tunes with amazing musicians.
