New Brew Lunchtime Concerts: Hannah Christianson
The Red Room presents the New Brew Lunchtime Concert Series. Every Tuesday and Thursday, Berklee students, staff, or faculty help you either slow down or power up for the afternoon. Concerts are free, all-ages, and open to the public. Bring your lunch, snag a coffee, and grab a seat for our New Brew performances—they’re good for the soul. Today's featured artist is Hannah Christianson.
Hannah Christianson is a music therapy and songwriting major of note. Her thoughtful writing encompasses the human condition with honesty, charisma, and hope. Peter Swenson, director of social media at CD Baby, described it as "A good mix of sweetness and pop sensibility, with an engaging voice that sounds like fine wine." Christianson received an honorable mention in Berklee's prestigious Performer/Songwriter Contest and performed in the Best of Berklee's Songwriters Showcase. Her song "Let's Be Frisbees" was recently featured on a compilation album for the Raising the Blues Foundation, which distributes uplifting music to children's hospitals in the New England area.
Christianson plans to spend the spring playing music and traveling around Europe, taking classes, and learning to play the harp. An EP release and first United States tour are also on the horizon.
