The Red Room presents the New Brew Lunchtime Concert Series. Every Tuesday and Thursday, Berklee students, staff, or faculty help you either slow down or power up for the afternoon. Concerts are free, all-ages, and open to the public. Bring your lunch, snag a coffee, and grab a seat for our New Brew performances—they’re good for the soul. Today's featured artist is Ryan Harris Brown.

Born in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area, Ryan Harris Brown has been intrigued by music from a very young age. After receiving a guitar for his 12th birthday it wasn't long before he began to compose original material, or what he calls "scribbly little things." Like any young adult, Harris Brown is searching for meaning and a purpose, only he does this through honest lyrics and undeniable melodies. With every new tune he writes he demonstrates growth not only as a musician but as a person. Hints of Paul Simon and the Beatles can certainly be heard in his songs, not to mention solid guitar playing. Harris Brown currently resides in Boston.
