Jazz pianist and vocalist Carmen Spada is very active in Boston and in his native Canada, where he performs as a soloist, with his trio, and with the Carmen Spada Sextet. In honor of his Italian roots, Spada also performs on the accordion.

Spada was introduced to the piano at the age of 7 by his father, Carmen Sr., who was also a pianist.
