Berklee Summer Concert SeriesRachel Borovik
Vocalist, songwriter, and pianist Rachel Borovik is dedicated to connecting with others through music. Though her roots are in jazz, she believes that "good music is good music." Her tunes breathe originality and float seamlessly in and out of jazz, pop, and neo-soul. Her phrasing is sensual and jazzy, her tunes are accessible to a wide audience, and the band is groovin'.
Borovik, a 19-year-old graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, is currently studying voice and piano at Berklee and recently finished recording her first full-length album of all original songs, Untangled. She has headlined and produced her own show at the Traverse City Opera House, and recorded live sessions for NPR.
This concert is presented by Harvard Longwood Campus and takes place at the Harvard School of Public Health.
