Pete Francis

New York-based singer/songwriter Pete Francis is set to release his new album, The Movie We Are In. Whereas Francis's previous solo albums were largely self-produced, he uprooted his approach to album-making and assembled an entirely new crew with Los Angeles–based producer Jeff Trott (right-hand man to Sheryl Crow as writer and guitarist). The results challenge listeners with contrast, combining the organic and the electronic, the standard and the hip, the familiar and the unfamiliar.

Also appearing: The Rescues. Four unique parts collided to make one majestic sound in 2008. What started as a one-night stand at a party has quickly turned into one of the most powerful forces in the Los Angeles music scene. Kyler England, Rob Giles, Adrianne Gonzalez, and Gabriel Mann, all successful singer/songwriters in their own right, joined together to form the Rescues and created a new, compelling sound where dark meets light, hope meets peril, and grace is found in unexpected places.
