Rachel Platten / Nick Howard

Rachel Platten is no stranger to the spotlight. After a life-changing experience in Trinidad performing, by fluke, in front of 100,000 screaming fans at the Trinidad Soca Monarch Finals, she returned to her native Boston and recorded her first record, Trust in Me. The songs on her debut release won her Best New Artist and Vocalist at the Harvard Advocate Music Awards and went into rotation on college radio.

Though a newcomer, she has opened for the Strokes, Rusted Root, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, and Marc Ford (of Black Crowes), and performed over 600 shows around the country.

British singer/songwriter Nick Howard has received and experienced tremendous accolades both in the U.S. and in his native U.K. He has been featured by MTV, Fox, Comcast, TLC, CBS, ABC, the BBC, Vogue, Tommy Hilfiger, and Lifetime and has had several of his songs featured in shows such as The Hills, Army Wives, LA Ink and Leave It to Lamas. Howard has opened for the likes of Gavin DeGraw and Jack Johnson and continues to tour extensively both in the U.S. and the U.K.
