Guitarist and Berklee alumnus Julian Lage '08, at 21, is already an accomplished artist. He was 8 when he played with Carlos Santana and 13 when he first played with Gary Burton. The Guardian of London calls him a "big talent blossoming." Lage recently released his debut recording, Sounding Point, on EmArcy Records, featuring his working band—saxophonist Ben Roseth, cellist Aristides Rivas, bassist Jorge Roeder and drummer/percussionist Tupac Mantilla. He'll perform two sets at Scullers.
