Re-Up: The effortless flow between hard-hitting hip-hop, soulful melodies, and booty shaking grooves. With songs that are a collision of sophisticated composition and raw energy, Re-Up will leave its mark on any audience. The rhythm section lays down a rock solid foundation while the horns add colorful riffs and rhythmic punches. The DJ pours some hot sauce on top using textural effects and wel-placed scratches, and Spliff's unique presence ties it all together. The sound connects with listeners in a way that only an elite tier of bands can, and the live show is proof of this. After a few songs, you'll swear that this band is your family. And you'll be right.

Supervolcano: This band's eponymous debut LP fully demonstrates the raw energy and groovy vibes of its spellbinding live performances as well as showcases its burgeoning songwriting prowess. With pieces ranging from the anthemic to the ethereal, this profound, self-titled effort is a sonic testament to the depths of emotion, the freedom of youth, and to true artistic expression. For fans of aggressive and thought-provoking progressive indie/alternative, prepare yourself to count Supervolcano among the new crop of great, up-and-coming rock bands.

Nini & Ben: The music of Nini & Ben is characterized by the rich textures of innocence and experience. The duo has spent years performing all over Europe and Australia, writing poignant songs, and falling in love with the gypsy life style. With gritty slide guitar and graceful pedal steel accentuating an acoustic sound, the music comes alive through delicate songwriting and masterful musicianship. Having been cowriters since their teenage years, Nini & Ben came to Berklee to study with some of the industry greats, and are featured on the latest disc from Berklee's student-run Heavy Rotation Records. The group has just finished recording its first full length album at Avatar Studios, in New York,  to be released in the summer of 2009. The band is: Nini Fabi, Ben Gebert, Derek McWilliams, Tommy Bohlen, Jake Cohen, and Johnny Duke.
