Berklee Summer in the CityRevive Music Group
Produced for the first time since 2009, Revive Music brings one of its most popular concerts to Jazz at the Fort on Sunday, August 5. Hip Hop 1942 is dedicated to bringing people back to a prominent era in jazz history that birthed some of the greatest songs in jazz that were later sampled to produce some of hip-hop's most legendary anthems. Berklee Alumni Igmar Thomas and James Casey and Berklee professor Brian "Raydar" Ellis will collaborate with current Berklee students to recreate a pivotal time in music history that influenced popular music today.
