Possibly the only turntablist/DJ crew officially offered as an ensemble by any music college in the world, the Mash Up ensemble stirs things up with its first David Friend Recital Hall concert—sure to be exciting and controversial. Four DJ/turnablists, a video artist, an electric fiddler, an electronic wind player, a visual DJ (VJ), an MC, a singer, and dancers span hip-hop, jazz, bluegrass, and house electronica under the direction of faculty member Stephen Webber.
