Iowa-born singer-songwriter Chuck McDermott has been making music for 40 years, on a journey that has taken him from Boston to Los Angeles, from barrooms to concert halls, from bootleg tapes to albums and movie soundtracks. Along the way, he's left a trail of evocative songs and a legion of still-loyal fans across the U.S. and Europe. McDermott's writing style is a gumbo that is true to the narrative traditions of country music but still incorporating the rhythms and sounds of R&B and rock 'n' roll.
