What is gospel music?

From the ancestral sounds of shackled souls through the jubilant acoustics of harmonious tones, the ever-evolving methodologies continue to stir deep and passionate responses through the various styles and genres of gospel music. The messengers testify. They sing their songs. Yet, the common thread that runs through them all is of course, the gospel, the good news.
