Mario DeCiutiis, president of Alternate Mode, manufacturer of the malletKAT, drumKAT, panKAT, and trapKAT, will demonstrate using alternate MIDI percussion controllers such as the trapKAT XL and the malletKAT 7KS to control samples and loops in Ableton Live, Kontakt 5, Kore, and Motif XS. He will present new "gestures" in performance that translate into a whole new vocabulary of sound!
