Each year, Berklee presents more than 1,500 concerts and events at venues on campus and in the Boston area, showcasing student, faculty, alumni and outside professional acts.

Kathryn Hallberg

Emotional, evocative, warm, and natural, rooted in Americana with pop and country stylings lightly layered on top: This describes Kathryn Hallberg's music. Her second EP, Nocturnal, with musical contributions from Lloyd Maines (Dixie Chicks, Robert Earl Keen) was mixed by Niko Bolas (Neil Young, James Taylor) at the Surf Shack in Los Angeles.

Davis Whitfield Trio

The son of musicians, Whitfield's early years were filled with music. Davis performed at the 2013 Nancy Jazz Pulsations Festival in Nancy, France, with Inna Dudukina. He also received a scholarship from the National Foundation for Advancement of the Arts and a Presidential Scholarship at Berklee College of Music to pursue his undergraduate degree. Tonight he will be performing piano trio.

Taylor Kelly

Taylor Kelly has a voice that blends jazz, soul, funk and truth. Her songwriting tells of triumph in hopes to inspire many to live, love, and forgive. Also a trumpet player, Taylor strives for an instrumental-vocal approach, rhythmic phrasing, and improvisation reminiscent of her trumpet-playing influences.

Felipe Tinoco Quartet

Originally from northeastern Brazil, Felipe Tinoco grew up surrounded by the sounds of traditional samba, bossa nova, and choro from his family of instrumentalists. It was not until his adolescence that he decided to pick up the guitar and pursue a career in music, carrying his family tradition while following his own peculiar musical instincts.
