Roots Roadshow

Students in the newly created American Roots Music Program offer a smorgasbord of fantastic performances in blues, gospel, folk, country, bluegrass, Western swing, polka, and more. The artistic director for the American Roots Music Program is Matt Glaser, chair of Berklee's String Department for 28 years.

Winds, Strings, and Mallets

This show will feature new compositions and improvisations for saxophone quartet, voice, violin, and marimba, by jazz composer and faculty member Darrell Katz. Faculty member Helen Sherrah-Davies will also perform.

The City of Tomorrow: Woodwind Quintet in Concert

The acclaimed ensemble the City of Tomorrow will present a concert of 20th and 21st century music for woodwind quintet. Included on the program will be "Island Universe," written by Berklee professor Andrew List.

Anthony Scibilia: Continuous Work of Art

Oliver Colvin Recital Hall

In this concert, Berklee faculty member Anthony Scibilia (Liberal Arts/Berklee Global Jazz Institute) and Berklee alumnus Casey Andersen explore the connections between music, visual art, and poetry in a series of original compositions. The poetic and visual works of several artists, including Pablo Neruda and Bernard Childs, will form points of departure for the musical works featured.
