Concerts

Each year, Berklee presents more than 1,500 concerts and events at venues on campus and in the Boston area, showcasing student, faculty, alumni and outside professional acts.

Lena Glikson: Kaleidoscope

Vocalist Lena Glikson will present a unique program where different genres, such as klezmer music, pop, jazz, and funk organically coexist. Glikson will perform her original compositions as well as her favorite pieces written by other composers. The program features guest artists such as Shir Zehavy (voice) and Daniel Feldman (Middle Eastern percussion).

Bass player Mats Sandahl and trumpet player Henning Ullén have known each other since high school in Stockholm. In this project they bring original songs inspired by Swedish as well as American music.

Music of the rich a cappella tradition of the famed Fisk Jubileee Singers is performed by vocal group Jubilee Spirit, under the direction of Professor Donna McElroy. The A Cappella Ensemble, led by Professor Joey Blake, will follow.
