Christa Gniadek / Eric Leva / Emily Correia
This show features three talented singer-songwriters – Christa Gniadek, Eric Leva, and Emily Correia – bringing their guitars and their engaging voices to the Café 939 stage.
Christa Gniadek’s lyrics blend raw emotion and humor, while her voice calls to mind the robust, velvety vocals of Norah Jones mixed with an Anna Nalick-like folk-pop element and the quirky poeticism of Ingrid Michaelson. Gniadek sings and plays the guitar with the honest self-assuredness of a person finding her way to poignancy, grace, and character.
Eric Leva is a songwriter, performer, and recording artist from the Boston area. Eric’s music has been featured on WXRV-FM ("The River''), WERS-FM, The Berklee Internet Radio Network, and Boston University’s WTBU-FM. Eric’s newest releases “Time & Place” and “Not in My City” can be found on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and several other digital music outlets. Eric has a new EP due out in 2014. Former releases include “Another Light – Original Holiday EP” (2011) and “The Scheme of Things – EP” (2011). Eric’s solo piano pop performances and charming stage banter have swooned audiences on both U.S. coasts in venues ranging from the legendary Club Passim in Cambridge to the oceanside Santa Monica Place in California.
