Alto saxophonist Zach Giberson presents a mixture of traditional Brazilian rhythm and harmonic foundations with contemporary jazz structure and improvisation. The show will mostly feature original compositions, but begins and ends with pieces by Dave Pietro—the saxophonist who largely inspired the idea behind this performance.
