Bobby Wesley is a guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist from Detroit. Soon to release his debut album, he writes compositions that mix contemporary jazz and neo-soul. As an accomplished musician and graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has had the honor of performing with Lalah Hathaway, Me’Shell Ndegeocello, Willie Nelson, and Annie Lennox. Bobby began performing during open jam sessions in local blues and jazz clubs in Detroit at age 15. At 17 he was a a featured performer with jazz violinist Regina Carter during the Detroit Montrieux Jazz Festival. As a popular guitarist/performer in the community of blues musicians in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Bobby has had the honor of performing with blues artists including Larry McCray and the late Magic Slim.
